A - Pours a dark red brown under two fingers of tan cream densely packed head with incredible retention and sloppy French Mastiff drools of lacing.
S - Heavy piney hops and strawberry jam.
T - All hops in the first touch but evens out nicely when the citrus hops and orange peel bitterness is joined by raspberry, cranberry and nutty biscuit.
M - Oily full body, low to medium carbonation. Just the right carriage for the flavours within.
O - Fantastic hoppy red ale. Very encouraging for the brewery and I'll be looking for more fresh stuff in the future.

On Tap at the Brewery
A - Dark reddish/brown with an one-finger tan/beige head. The head takes a bit of time to diminish leaving long lasting streaky-white lacing down the entire glass.
S - Plenty going on here - Toasty/yeasty malt with hints of grapefruit, pine, and dark caramel. There are also some earthy notes in there that I couldn't quite put my finger on.
T - Sweet and dark caramel malt right off the bat. The taste finishes with just a touch of hop bitterness to round things off and make you want another sip. Very balanced with no one taste taking the lead.
M - Medium carbonation and body. Full flavor but this beer does not feel heavy in any way.
O - This is fast becoming one of my favorite Red Ales. Well crafted and everything is nicely balanced. And the bonus is that the brewery is about 20+ minutes away.

On tap at Field Of Drafts held at The Hanger in Lancaster, CA.
Pours a hazy dark orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, caramel, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a citrus forward hop presence that is slightly better in the smell.
