A special blend of American hop flowers impart luscious, fresh resiny flavors found only in whole cone hops earned this beer a Silver Medal at the 2014 US Open Beer Championships. A tasty brew showcasing some leafy green flavored hops. The strong malty back bone compliments the leafy hops. Not a tropical, dank, or piney hop, but satisfying nevertheless, with a pretty substantial body and nice bitter finish. I’m glad I grabbed it instead of the other mainland options, recommended

22 oz bottle into glass
Dark copper color, earthy hop aroma. Slightly bitter. Medium bodied. Overall the taste is a little too herbal for my liking.

Served on tap at the brewer.
No head, only rim bubbles. It leaves only a couple of spots. Amber color and crystal clear.
Nice caramel nose behind the floral hop. Very nice blend.
Starts malty (pale and crystal). The hop is pretty strong in the swallow and aftertaste. Overall, a well rounded IPA. Full bodied with a typical level of carbonation.

Bomber into pub pint
A- a very dark red/copper color, slight haze with good head and lacing. About a .25" cap that sits atop the beer that drops to .125"
S-malty sweetness, floral
T- hints of floral, malt, some bitter aftertaste, not really strong in any area
M- avg to thin mouthfeel, mild carbonation
O- it's not a bad beer, but it's nothing to rave about, I would like more in the taste and smell area, like the color, but I have trouble seeing it be worth the $9-10/bottle price

Pours a murky dark orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus zest, grapefruit juice, floral, and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a solid balance between citrus and herbal hop characteristics all around.
