A dark rich clear copper colored beer rests below a decent off white to light tan head and lacing.

Light lightly roasted caramel grain malts with some distinct light hops aroma.

A definite dark roasted caramel malts almost to the point of tasting burnt mixes well with the lightly bitter hops.

The aftertaste is quite dry and lasting with some caramel malts lingering on with this medium bodied beer.

Pretty good stuff, but I generally like more hops in my IPA's. (475 characters)

Pint poured from growler filled at "Growl Movement" in Salem OR $10 growler Good looking amber.red coloured ale with a nice cream coloured thick and bubbly head. Very subdued nose..lots of thick toffee caramel that’s about it Taste is much the same a small amount of grassy hop maybe. Palate is OK average. I would say this is an Amber ale Boring beer..bad choice in growler! (377 characters)

Served in Nonic. Poured a lightly hazy red-amber color with 3/4 inch of light khaki head that good retention and lacing.

A nice whiff of piney hops led off the olfactory aspect, with a bit of sweet, slightly biscuity malt providing a base and some balance. On the tongue, the hops were a slight bit more citrusy, especially at the back, and balanced the malts very well.

The body, while smooth, clean, and even, was a wee bit thinner than I prefer in the style. Drinkability was very good, the beer went down smooth and easy. I have no problem picturing myself knocking off a growler on a sunny afternoon. Overall, a very nice example of the style, certainly worth trying when you see it. (690 characters)
