This is an incredibly balanced pale ale that was served on tap with an amber color and a nice frothy head that left fairly sticky lacing. The smell is certainly hop forward, especially with the pine aroma, but the taste is far more balanced, with citrus and pine balanced by a nice caramel malt that will leave those looking for an intensely hoppy beer disappointed. The mouthfeel may be the best part, as it's smooth and even somewhat creamy with just enough carbonation, although the carbonation will be too faint for some. Again, it won't meet the expectations of those anticipating a very hoppy beer, but this was still very enjoyable although quite filling.

Cloudy dark side honeyed pour. One and a half inch white head with staggered lacing.
I smell nothing but wet glass.
Unpleasant metallic bitter hop leaf and that doesn't even last long. Malt is there in simple form.
Carbonation is playful and lighter bodied.
Whaaa Whaaa?!? Got this "fresh?" off the shelf last week. As I'm reviewing this I can't help but to think FFF is better than this. Sorry boys but this is a stinker, juz saying. Bad bottle-maybe. Man-o-yawn.
