Appearance: Dark orange brown color. Finger of sticky head on the pour. Average active carbonation in glass. Sticky random lacing left behind at each level.
Smell: Smooth easy tropical fruit front with a solid caramel malt backbone. Light straw and prairie grass. Overall very subtle though.
Taste: Some pineapple and other various light fruits. Resinous pine begins to linger on the body and long into the aftertaste. Rounded malt backbone makes this a pale ale all the way.
Mouthfeel: Sticky malt provides a solid body for the linger pine. Easy drinking.
Overall: Solid pale ale but in the end is just a pretty simple brew. It's not quite on the level of FFF's other pales though.

Cloudy dark side honeyed pour. One and a half inch white head with staggered lacing.
I smell nothing but wet glass.
Unpleasant metallic bitter hop leaf and that doesn't even last long. Malt is there in simple form.
Carbonation is playful and lighter bodied.
Whaaa Whaaa?!? Got this "fresh?" off the shelf last week. As I'm reviewing this I can't help but to think FFF is better than this. Sorry boys but this is a stinker, juz saying. Bad bottle-maybe. Man-o-yawn.
