Serving: Bottle into footed pilsener
Served: 7 April 2014
Appearance: Crystal clear with an amber tinge. A small white, foamy white head on the top that diminishes to about a half a finger and leaves good lacing.
Smell: Citrus and floral hoppiness dominate the nose, but there is a slight hint of malt sweetness.
Taste: A nice assertion of citrus hoppiness on a sweet malt backbone.
Mouthfeel: Perfect carbonation for the style. Body fits what I would expect for a 5% APA.
Overall: Another great beer by FFF, and one that I think is sometimes overlooked. This one is comparable in quality and taste to SNPA, though this one has a slightly thinner body in my opinion, and is just slightly darker. Would recommend, especially for those beginning to explore the hoppier sides of craft beer.
