12 oz. brown bottle.
Pours amber in color, with a fluffy white head.
Hops are bold and delicious in the nose. Citric, herbal, and inviting.
Light in body with mellow carbonation and a slightly oily mouth coating. The hops are assertive and the highlight of the beer. Mandarin orange, grapefruit, herbs- warrior and amarillo hops is a favorite combination. The bitterness level isn't high, only the hop flavor is big. A sweet maltiness is in there somewhere.
If I didn't have to drive to Illinois to get it, I would drink this all of the time. Although it's a stretch to call this an English mild, it is one hell of a session beer.
