12 oz bottle poured into Hoegaarden glass.
A--Dark apple juice pour. Large bubble head turns creamy and lasting. Decent lacing as it goes.
S--Tropical/citrusy hops with caramel malt. Mild.
T--Hops prominent but not overpowering. Good balance of bitter and sweet, but ends bitter and floral. Tea, oil of bergamot...Ghostly smokiness?
M--Smooth and crisp--even at the elevated temperature at which I am drinking this (couldn't wait). Not too much oilyness from hops.
D--For a beer of substance? Yes. But with the wacky, uncompromising ingredient composition of the 3 Floyds Boys, I could see this giving me a surprise hangover as other of their beers have in the past
