On draft - poured into a tulip
Appearance- Pours a deep dark copper with a creamy finger and a half of bone white head.
Smell- Caramel malt, a bit doughy, citrus hops. Not a big nose on this one.
Taste- Again lots of caramel and toffee. Notes of dark fruits, particularly plum, a hint of chocolate as well. Earthy throughout. A nice citrus hop finish.
Mouthfeel- Medium body and carbonation. Nice and smooth.
Overall- It is a nice beer, but not my favorite. I love the label, but I could list out a dozen other beers from FFF that I would choose before this.
Serving type: on-tap

A- Deep mahogany with amber accents. Dense khaki head
S- Smokey peat, cocoa nibs, crystal malts.
T- Follows nose well. Slight bitterness present for a style that doesn't normally have it. Lots of roasted malts and caramel. Some bready character.
M- Creamy, lighter body. Rich, yet smooth. Dry finish.
O- Very good. Top notch for the style.
