Given the name and style description, I wasn't expecting much from this beer. However, the beer turned out to be absolutely outstanding.

The beer pours a golden amber color with lots of frothy lacing all around and very good head retention. The beer looks great. On those, it was just more of the same, as I picked up considerable grassy hops, light cookie dough, light honey, and some underlying skunky hops that really brought everything together. The flavor profile replicated the nose, and as expected (given the nose), there was considerably hoppy bitterness on the finish. The flavor profile was quite complex I thought, and the beer had layers of flavor to it. Very, very impressive. Mouthfeel was great otherwise, and the finish was long, crisp, clean and eminently satisfying.

I would be curious to know what adjuncts were used in the making of this beer, because this was way better than any Mexican lager or pils I've ever had and was flat out delicious.

This is so excellent. I don't drink lagers or like them really but man this is an exception.

Look: Nice white two finger head, deep golden and see through.

Smell: Can't really pick up much of a smell. Very subtle to where I can't even describe it. The little smell I got was a little spicy just like the front end of the beer

Taste: Amazing for a lager. Tiny bit of spice, the sip brings the spice all the way through. Has that "bite" people look for to the point where if this was blindly tasted, it could be mistaken for a very pale pale ale. This beer doesn't die in flavor with that bland finish which is what turns me away from most lagers. The body and taste is maintained throughout. Very refreshing finish.

Feel: Thin body but an effective one. As said before, the body is maintained. Has a significant hop bitterness for the style and will tingle your tongue.

Overall: Just a fantastic brew. If you see this, get it. I bought one single bottle just for the experience and despite my aversion to most lagers, I would gladly take a second bottle. Great work again by Floyds

Poured from a fairly fresh bomber into a pils type glass. Full disclosure, I am drinking this after the Calumet Queen, which shared a lot of characteristics with this one. Color is somewhat cloudy off-color pale yellow. Big head with giant bubbles; some lacing. No smell. Legit: no smell. Not too much to taste either, but for the style I think its good. Sticks to the message: light, refreshing, doesn't hang around and try to do things it can't. Very easy drinker that just isn't worth getting for anything other than the pool. Unfortunately bombers at $8 don't fit what I want in a pool beer.
