Pours a lovely gold color with a fairly thin head that dissipates quickly. Just opening the bomber and pouring a glass fills the room with citrus fruit aromas-- this is a very pungent beer. The first sip is likewise a hop explosion of the highest order, with waves of citrus fruit washing over my tongue. The bottle alleges that there is a "strong caramel malt backbone," but it is rather difficult to detect and completely obliterated by the bitter hop goodness. Decent amount of carbonation gives it a smooth, crisp taste that stains my tongue with hop bitterness. Alcohol is well hidden.
Simply an amazing beer.
