Served cool in a Boston lager glass from a brown bomber.
Hazy orange color with a rocky off-white head.
Aroma is sweet caramel and loaded with grapefruity hops.
Tastes sweet and malty with plenty of hop flavor, maybe too sweet. Lingering caramel aftertaste like a double red.
Mouthfeel is moderately bitter, could use more of a bite to counter the caramel.
Drinkability is OK, but heavy sweetness in the finish could use some balance from more bitterness or a stronger, more piney hop variety.
