22 oz brown bomber style bottle with great FFF artwork on label. Poured into a nonic pint glass.
A - A tad hazy. Color is burnt golden orange. Lushy and frothy white head that's nice and thick with a creamy like lace. Head stays true throughout providing a fair amount of stick.
S- Fresh hoppiness. aroma of pine and citrus hops. A faint fruitiness to it with a small hint of sweet malt. A touch of spice within.
T- Mango fruitiness up front paired with sweet peach notes. Both pine and citric hoppiness flow big over the taste buds. Oily hop flavor really lays down a nice spice character. sweet caramel malt notes really balance nicely. Almost a buttery character. Finish is a hop headed bitterness with some spice and a small lingering sweetness.
M- Thick and smooth. Pure FFF! Very drinkable as the alcohol doesn't knock you in the mouth. It just splashes the mouth with a sticky world class thickness. Just a complex flavor that's enjoyable and easy to drink.
O- A perfect double/imperial ipa from a perfect brewery. This is a world class ale and is as of right now the best imperial ipa I've ever had. It has the look and flavor thats incomparable. Very complex and tasty. Something both hop heads and just craft guys both can appreciate. If you can appreciate the quality of this ale than you need to stop reviewing. This double ipa was crafted and brewed to perfection. You don't find brews made any better than this.
