After reading many of the reviews for this beer I was so excited that I would actually get to dry it. (thanks to weefisheads for the beer tasting)
Appearance is a nice ambery pale color perfect for an IPA. There was a nice thin head that didn't fade.
Smell is wonderfully aromatic. Its has a very hoppy nose but not to the point of being hard to drink from the smell. Great floral tones and a nice malty backing.
The taste big and flavorful. There is a great balance of bitterness, sweetness, and alcohol. Though it is almost 10% ABV I would have never noticed because the malty body covers it up so well. It is slightly fruity and sweet but finishes nice with a good level of bitterness
Overall - One of the best IPAs I have every had and can not wait to get my hands on some more (whenever that is)
