Poured into my effin gruven snifter from a 22oz bomber served at fridge temp on Labor Day.
IT pours a golden, bright, hazy, orange color with a white head that seems to dissapear rather quickly. After swirling for a while it leaves a descent lacing on the glass.
The aroma is really incredible. Pure hops..citrus, pine and a little floral with grapfruit taking the spotlight followed by tropical fruits.
The taste, pure hop juice. Its unbelievable how much hop flavor is packed into each sip. Orange is the most dominant among all the flavors, it is probably the most orange dominant DIPA that I have had.
Mouthfeel is incredible. Fullbodied and very creamy with a slight, slight, slight alcohol presence that is barely worth mentioning. For the amount of hop flavor it is suprising that this beer isnt more bitter. It is definitley bitter, but not as bitter as one would expect. And i'm not getting that resiny feel that I would get in most DIPA's.
Had no problem drinking 22oz. of this beer. Actually a friend had a small glass from it but if I had more I would have had no problem opening up another bottle. This is 100% worth seeking out, hop head or not.
