22oz bomber sans date. Pours a honey color flared with bursts of gold. The two finger white head recedes rather quickly, never firming up much, but leaving ample strands of sticky lace.
The bouquet is a delightful blend of fragrant, floral hops, accompanied by citrus and pine. The flavor is hops, hops, and more hops, yet it offers varied hop characterstics--sweet, bitter, at times a bit phenolic--they never grow overbearing, and theres a little sugar and citrus to temper the hops.
The mouth is complex, pretty light for the most part, until the bitter hops dry things out on the finsh, although a little sugar sticks to the lips at the end. The rounded, balance nature of this beer makes it highly drinkable, and I think what seperates it from many DIPA. It's hoppy as hell, yet it is far from a pure hop burn. It's wicked awsome.
