22 oz bomber bottle. Purchased September '03 at Jungle Jim's in Cincinnati,OH. Consumed April 8, 2004.
Shiny dark copper color. Beautiful creamy biege head. Lots of hop generated bubbles. Visually Impressive. Perfect looking beer in the glass. Striking hop aromas at arms length. Sharp snappy cascade hop presence. Taste is snappy and dominated by grapefruit juice, bitter spruce tips like taste and full on hop snap balanced on a toasty biscuit malt backbone. Great flavors, balanced and everything you would expect in a great IPA. Balanced. Medium bodied, rich flavors, biting hop teeth. Puckering on the lips, and asks to be sampled and savored, yet perfectly refreshing.
