Wow. I have lived in Chicago with access to his for awhile and have not taken advantage. I'm an idiot.
Pours out a pure orange color with the smell of oranges, apricot, and other fruit yet to be determined.
The taste is overwhelmingly fruity with a nice finish that sticks around for you to enjoy a good time longer. The alcohol is hidden so well, I am half tempted to just slam glass after glass with no regards to it's capacity. I can't fullCy express how delicious this beer is.
I must say this is the finest example of what I consider an American DIPA that I have found. The start to finish of this treasure is pure enjoyment. I would absolutely make this an everyday beer if not for the price, but given the opportunity to have this on hand, I will stock up my share. Those of you not fortunate enough to get this in your area, make a concerted effort to get your hands on a bottle or 2.
