Undated 22 oz. bomber purchased earlier this month in Ohio.
A: A role model: Deep amber color with ample fine-grained carbonation rising to a fine off-white, creamy head. The head is perfectly proportioned and very durable. Picture perfect lacing is left on the glass.
S: Only moderately aromatic for style, with sweet malts and fruity hops nearly in balance. Citrus rind dominates but there is a slight floral element too.
T: Malty, but with the hops clearly dominant. Orange, grapefruit, some vague tropical fruit and a just a hint of pine. Nice long aftertaste with relatively mild bitterness.
M: Medium-full-bodied. Smooth with soft carbonation. Really excellent for a 9.5% ABV DIPA.
O: World-class DIPA. I'd love to taste this along with Hopslam and some other great DIPAs, but 3F is unavailable here in SC.
