Grats to weefishheads for this. Thin blanched white topped the yellow to red and impossibly transparent ale. Slight trails of lace etched the path of the beers disappearance.
The aroma was utterly unique and absolutely heavenly. Gracefully floral without a trace of grassy or resiny smells. Each hop must have been hand selected and blessed before being added.
The taste was subdued sweet malts and blooming hops. Every flavor was delicate and balanced. The taste was almost a sign of brewing perfection - each ingredient added in just the right amount. The ale was sweet on the tongue, clean in its presentation, and left a nice crispness at the end. Only now did I learn that its considered an imperial. Nothing stands out as being doubled, except maybe consideration.
