A- dark golden moving into the amber range depending on the lighting. soft white head that hangs around for a little bit. nothing too special here.
S- Hops and fruit. citrus fruit. pineapple comes to mind. smells a lot like hopslam actually.
T- a little underwhelming at first. The hops dont come through as expected and there is actually more malt flavor than would be desired in a DIPA. This must be what people mean when they say they like their IPAs "balanced", but i dont get it. As i said, its malty, there is a hop bitterness, and lots of fruit flavors in between. It's good, but not what I expected.
M- This beer is insanely smooth on the palate. doesn't get much better in this department.
D- This drinks well, and i would definitely get it again if it were available in my area (but it is not).
