Thanks to Another6Pack for this bottle! Poured into my goblet.
Appearance: A very nice clear burnt orange with wonderful frothy head that leaves some nice lacing.
Smell: The hops is not overpowering. I can actually smell the malt backbone a little in addition to the citrus and floral hops aromas.
taste: This is not a one sided hops bomb IPA. Very complex with toasted malts with a nice caramel like flavor. The hop bitterness takes the form of citrus and pine like flavors with a bit of earthiness. There is a bit residual sweetness also.
Mouthfeel: This beer is full bodied but the carbonation is such that the body is never heavy. The flavors are so intense that they coat the mouth really well.
Overall: I am impressed. this is a really great example of a DIPA. I wish I could get these more often.
