Style | ABV
American Double / Imperial IPA |  9.50% ABV

Availability: Year-round

Notes/Commercial Description:
9.5% ABV 99 IBUs - A hophead’s dream beer. This Imperial India Pale Ale has an opening salvo of mango, peach and citrus hop aromas that sit atop a pronounced caramel malt backbone. Although Dreadnaught is a strong and intensely hoppy ale, its complex flavor is both smooth and memorable.

22oz bottle into pint glass.

Pours a hazy golden amber color with one finger off-white head.

Piney, green, citrusy nose. Slight malt hints. Mostly hops though. Delicious and well-balanced.

Taste is sweet and hoppy, giving off notes of mango, pineapple, and apple. Light sweet taste with a clean slightly bitter finish

Moderate carbonation with well-rounded, crisp but sweet finish.

Overall a stellar example of an imperial IPA. No overwhelmingly hoppy but shows off serious amount so hops and malts while keeping them in balance to create an overall delicious beer. Will seek out again!

The first beer I've traded for!
Pours hazy orange with a white head that dissipates quickly.
Smells of hops and citrus, very balanced, not as hoppy as i expected.
Taste has surprising hints of sweetness, but remains balanced. Flavors of hops, citrus, pine.
Medium body, carbonation plays nicely, doesn't dry the mouth out like other DIPAs that I've had.
Very well made, possibly my favorite DIPA.
