A: A deep red pour with a foamy offwhite head atop it. Retention is quite good and the lacing is too.
S: Decently hoppy, mostly tea-like aroma. Some pineapple. Sweet caramel rounds it out. Very nice caramelized brown sugar smell as it warms.
T: A little bit of tea and pineapple up front which blends into a nice caramel malt afterwards. Some nice biscuity malt as well. Quite malty in general.
M: Smooth medium body. A bit drying in the aftertaste.
O: Overall not a bad irish red. Not my favorite style and this might be my favorite. I recommend letting it warm up, it is a totally different beer. I had to come back and edit my scores after letting it sit out for quite a while.
