Bomber served chilled in a pint glass.
Appearance: Clear reddish brown/chestnut topped by a weakish offwhite head which receded to a film pretty fast. No lacing.
Smell: Pineapply citric hop juices, little bit of sap. Toasty caramelized malts. Good to great, but not exquisite.
Taste: Sappy bitter hops giving way to fruit- and hop-juice twinged maltsy sweetness. Kinda two-dimensional. I was merely whelmed here.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium in body. Carbonation levels are adequate.
Drinkability: About as Irish as a St. Patrick's Day parade, but I'm not complaining too much. Midwest represent!. A nice hoppy red ale with some chutzpah.
Serving type: bottle
