Got a bottle from Capone's in PA...no where else sells Three Floyd's in our area. Pricey purchase, but I was curious.
Pours with a pleasant head. Dark, orange copper color. The tiny carbonation bubbles circulate around the interior of the glass.
A rich, heavy, sweet, malty scent. Almost a syrupy aroma. First taste, smooth. Not as potent in terms of alcohol taste as I would have expected based on the smell. BIG malty flavor, which comes in waves. Fills the tastebuds. The essence of a burgundy and a barleyine.
Good, quality stuff. As mentioned, lots of underlying flavors present.
