A: Poured with 2 fingers of head in a dark copper color.
S: sting pine and hop with slight malt and grassy tones. The label claims pineapple, which I pick up later.
T: hops right through and through, but is balanced by the malt background really well. Nothing dominates, which leaves everything nicely put together.
M: some carbonation is present, but is still full enough.
D: excellent overall drinkability. I could have this on a regular basis.
Nicely done for an Irish red by an American brewery.
