This pours a transparent rich red . It leaves a head, which dissipates into an island of foam, and a ring around the edge which laces quite a bit.
Smells hoppy. Sweet and floral, too.
Taste is hoppy and dry, with a nice malt that sits on the tougue during the drink
Mouthfeel is a bit coarse, but a bit creamy too. The mouthfeel and hop crispness play together, giving the mouthfeel a bit of a tingle, and that tingle in the mouthfeel give the flavor a hoppy sparkle.
Finish is clean. a slight pine hop bite hits the tounge, and then dissipates after being cleaned by the crisp hop.
Body is ever so slightly thin, but then again, I like beer you can chew.
This is another great brew from my favorite brewery. IF you can find this, you have GOT to try it! ...I wish their limited beers weren't so limited, and were available in 6-packs....
