A: Pours pitch black with a large medium brown head. Fades slowly but with almost no lacing at all.

S: Wonderfully rich milk chocolate. Roasted malt and coffee but the creamy chocolate overwhelms here.

T: Again, lots of milk chocolate along with oatmeal. A touch of bitterness up front but then evens out. Smooth, creamy and sweet. And chocolaty, did I mention that? It's relatively simple so I can't give it too many marks for complexity but the quality and balance of flavor is wonderful.

M: Creamy and silky smooth. Medium-heavy body.

O: Well now, this one was way better than I expected. Seems they added some oatmeal which gives it a nice silky smooth heartiness. Feels bigger than it actually is, in fact. I happen to love sweet/milk stouts, chocolate stouts and oatmeal stouts. This is all three in one. It's got a perfectly balanced, sweet creamy chocolate character to it. Easily the top milk stout I've ever had. Bravo, Three Floyds.

22 oz. Bomber poured into a snifter.

A: Pours a great black color with a decent cap around 3/4 inches and the consistency of a thin oil.

S: Aroma consists mainly of sweet malts and darker fruits. There is also a slightly piney hop aroma in the background.

T: Big sweet malty taste is chocolate with a caramel note in there and molasses lurking around just like a animal on the prowl faint but your know its there. Some little surprises in the background like figs and a small hint of hop flavor half floral and then some citrusy.

M: Moutfeel is a wonderful balance of slightly alcoholic and smooth earthy quality.

O: Overall a great beer from the 3 Floyds brew crew. Loved it and left me wanting another.
