A: Beer is black and opaque. The pour yields a cascading tan head, similar to what you get on a nitro beer. The head is 4+ fingers high and shows great retention and a good amount of lacing.

S: Aromas are roasted malts, coffee and milk chocolate. Simple yet pleasant

T: Dark and malty, with the roasted grain flavors being balanced by the sweetness of the lactose.

M: Smooth, creamy and full-bodied, with low to medium carbonation. The finish features a slight sweetness and also toasted malt.

O: An excellent, easy-drinking stout. The 8% ABV was masked well. Highly recommend

22oz. bomber served into a snifter

Pours dark as night, with a gorgeous tan head, about 1-finger's worth that dissipates rather quickly.

Smells like Yoohoo with a slight roasty note. Really wonderful aroma, no hint of alcohol and coffee scent is very muted.

Lots going on here. You get the sweet chocolate taste, but the coffee really stands out. The sugars really help pull this all together.

Surprisingly thin mouthfeel but true to the style. Goes down so smooth.

Overall, I'm really impressed. Three Floyd's has yet to disappoint me, and this beer is at the top of its category.

22oz. bomber served into a tulip glass

Pours a predictably dark dark mahogany. This is a pretty typical looking stout, really. A little over one finger of dark khaki foam. Not much to say. It looks like it should.

Moloko Milk Stout smells more remarkably than it looks. Chocolate ice cream and malted milkshake aromas dominate the luxurious nose. There's a fair amount of roast though not as much as I'd ideally like.

This beer is really flavorful for the milk stout style. Lots of sweet sugary notes accentuating the deep chocolate and roast flavors. There's also a fair amount of brown sugar and even some dark fruits. But the lactose sweetness grounds the whole flavor profile.

The mouthfeel strikes me initially as a bit thin, but I have to remember that this isn't an imperial stout, not truly. It's just so flavorful that I want to treat it like a crazy imperial stout. Overall, this is one of the absolute best examples of the milk/sweet stout style that we have.

Pours not quite black with a thick mocha-colored frothy head. Smell is toasted malts, coffee and sugar with a hint of alcohol.

Taste is toasted oats and sweetened mocha followed by a mellow light hop finish. The sweet mocha still comes through on the finish and really dominates the palate. Not overwhelming though, probably because the hops are just right to tone down the sweet without taking too much away. Plus, this stuff is just so drinkable. Nice creamy mouthfeel, with light carbonation.

The sweet coffee flavor makes this a very drinkable beer. No trace of the 8%. Overall, an excellent milk stout. I love how drinkable this style is and wish more brewers did it, although not sure they could match this effort by TF.

[Best served in a Pint glass]

The pour was a muddy dark brown almost black in color with a very large (on the heavy side of 3 fingers) creamy medium brown head that lasted throughout and produced some really excellent lacing.

The aroma was wonderfully heavy of some burnt dark malts and a strong leathery yeast with notes of dark chocolate, dark roasted coffee, molasses and a hint of dark fruit.

The taste was moderately sweet with a hint of dark chocolate and molasses at first then it became extremely malty and moderately bitter with a nice creamy coffee finish. The flavor lasted a very long time after the swallow letting one relish the bitter chocolate coffee flavor.

Mouthfeel was robustly full in body and smooth and creamy in texture with a nice soft carbonation.

Overall an exquisite Stout with the flavors contributing to each in such a way as to produce a truly delightful drinking experience.
