Notes/Commercial Description:
This beer is brewed during the hop harvest with a portion of unkilned or “wet” hops fresh off the vine. Apricot in color, Broo Doo’s nose has dominant orange, pine sap and floral notes, balanced by a glazed nut and toffee malt body. This celebration of the hop harvest has intense tropical fruit, citrus and spicy accents that showcase the complexity of the hops we all love.

22oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a transparent golden with a fluffy eggshell white head that fades slowly and leaves great lacing and retention. Wonderful looking brew. The aromas have alot of berries and pine sap. Lemon and lime zest is there. Hints of grapefruit rind and other citrus notes. Subtle hints of soap. Very subtle hints of sweet malts. The flavors are extremely sharp and crisp. Tons of lemon and lime. Lots of pine needles. More grapefruit. It's like you can taste the vine. The malts seem to take a backseat in the flavor department, but they're still there to slightly cut down on the hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is wonderful. It's medium-bodied and extremely light and smooth; carbonation is active, but subtle. Very smooth. Alcohol goes unnoticed. It's very fun and easy to drink.

This is a very nice wet-hopped IPA. I hate to say this beer doesn't remind me of what I recalled from the past, but it doesn't. I don't mean that in a negative way at all though. It's good! This beer is well crafted and very enjoyable.

Moderate golden color. Heavy sized head on first pour. Ok aroma-basically grassy hops with a piney/resin scent. Soild malt flavor with a moderate hop bitterness. Big hop flavor. Well balanced between the 2. A tad thin in places though that does not make for a bad beer. A lot of flavor for sure but at 7% I am expecting a bit more in all departments.

Bomber via trade thanks to dug.

Pours clear golden-amber with a medium-sized white head that lasts and good lacing.

Sweet aroma, with honey and pale malt along with citrusy hops and tropical fruit notes.

Nice flavor, although the hops are a little less prominent than I expected. Hop character is mainly citrusy with orange and pineapple. Lots of honey malt sweetness.

Mouthfeel is pretty standard for an IPA. Medium body and carbonation, some hop oils.

This is pretty good, but it's one of the few FFF offerings I've had where I wasn't THAT impressed. Drinkable at least.
