Acquired in a trade with vj2slow
Appearance is a clear amber-dark orange hue, head is a thick off-white layer of sudsy foam that dissipates to a thin ring, spotty lacing on the glass
Smell is mild-to-moderate hops, mostly light citrus, pine resin, and floral/grass, nice backbone of bread/biscuit malts, touches of fruit zest and spices
Taste is floral and earthy hops held in check with pale bread malts, great balance, some bitter citrus and roast malts creep in, finish dominated by bitter hops, very delicious
Mouthfeel is medium-bodied, watery yet slick texture, mild carbonation
Drinkability is very high, I really like the balance between hops and malts, this is a very hop-forward pale ale in the session range with very little alcohol presence, i'm glad i was able to get a 6-pack of this tasty ale!
