Thankyou to BDEE for the trade of a few FFF's beers. Poured a crystal clear amber color with almost 3 fingers of off white heading. Insane looking lacing all throughout the tasting as it etched the glass.
When the cap was popped all I smelled were those tremendous C hops. Very instense waves of citrus grapefruit, and pine. Trace of sweet caramel.
For such a huge nose to this, I was a little let down in the taste. Not from the bitterness or the heavy grapefruit but the malt backbone. When I think of pale ale I think of doughy or even sourdough malts, this is very light and crisp very much like an IPA. Either or a damn good beer.
Medium bodied a little thickness to that ass. Awesome carbonation. Finishes clean.
Slightly torn between this IPA and Pale ale style but either or this is a damn good one.
