Glowing deep copper with a dense, eggshell colored head. It soon settles, leaving a "cling-ring" and a lot of intricate lace.
Piney, citrusy hop aroma. Juicy. Caramel malts with a slight biscuity note too.
The flavor starts with a full, sharp, grapefruit bitterness. A bit of warming brings the crystal maltiness up a couple of notches, but the hops maintain their dominance until the very end. More of an IPA than Pale ale in my mind, but a fantastic beer no matter what you call it.
Medium body, soft mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. I could (and have) drink this beer all night.
Serving type: on-tap
