Thank you to Jamie for this bottle.

A- deep clear red color with small white head. some lacing in the glass as it settles

S- Nice malt and hop balance for a pale ale. nothing overpowering on either side

T- Get the warrior hop smack first with some bread malts and caramel behide. others hops make a clean finish

M- bitter and smooth. very drinkable

O- A top ten APA for me. Another Three floyds beer that wins in my book

Poured into a pint glass

A: Pours a clear, orange / amber color. A of finger head forms, white in color. Retention is pretty good.

S: Hop aromas with grapefruit, orange, lemon notes followed by roasted malts.

T: Tastes like the smell, no real surprises. Everything melds together quite nicely. The grapefruit/orange/lemon comes out toward the end, the finish is clean without a hop bite.

M: Medium bodied with a relatively dry finish.

O: Very satisfied with my first three floyds beer thanks to a friend who recently moved to Indiana. I'm glad I have five more to enjoy and that this beer is available year-round.

Had this on draft at the Yardhouse in Glenview. Served in a pint glass.

A: Pours a clear amber color with some lighter straw notes around the edges. A one finger bubbly white head forms on the pour and subsides to thin film. Leaves some sticky lace behind.

S: Slighty malty with nice high hop presence. The main note is grapefruit and with a subtle floral component mixed in.

T: The taste follows the nose, but with the hops more amplified. The oaty malt provides a nice backbone for the citrus hop flavors with a slight flowery sweetness.

M: Light to medium bodied with a sticky mouthfeel to it. Nice bubbly carbonation though and the finish is slightly bitter.

O:This is definitely more hopped up than I remember from years past. It drinks more like an IPA than a pale ale, but is still a delicious and hoppy brew.

Received in trade from phisigben, thanks for the opportunity.
Pours a deep clear copper color with a big fluffy white head that slowly dissipates to a wisp of foam on top. Smells of citrus, lots and lots of grapefruit fresh from the produce isle. a bit of toffee, bread and a hint of caramel malt are buried deep underneath. Taste is citrus and resinous with bits of bread and malt barely breaking onto the scene. Long lingering hop bite in the finish is there but never harsh. Medium to light body with a moderate level of carbonation with a smooth resinous mouthfeel. This is a very nice beer, but to call this a pale ale is a bit of a stretch. I would drink these a lot more often if they were more available in my area.
