Golden, apple juice in color. Initially poured with a big, pillow-like slightly dusty, white head of foam. But breaks down rather quickly though becoming fizzy and thin looking.
Lots of oranges and grapefruit in the nose. Very flowery, with aromas of toasted oak. Light caramel and toffee notes along with toasted bread and fresh oats. Which gives it a sweet, bready quality that makes me think of frosted animal crackers. There's some pine and citrus hop aromas also.
Soft, creamy mouthfeel upfront. Flavors of fresh oranges, ripe pineapple and grapefruit. Toasted bread, hints of toffee and caramel gives it a touch of sweetness. Malts dominate the palate, with toasted oak and butter. Kinda tangy throughout the beer. Flowers and green tea. Has a good hop bitterness, with pine and citrus flavors that lingers in the finish.
