Poured from 22oz bottle.
A- Poured into my Bell's snifter. Nice dark hazy orange color. Good off white one finger head that stays around leaving good lacing around the sides of the glass. This beer looks good.
S- Sweet citrus hops come crashing through a light malt backbone. It smells a little sweet which might be from the lacotse in this. Mostly all I smell is hops though.
T- This is good tasting. Not my favorite DIPA but this right there fighing for middle ground and up toward the upper half. The hops kick in with this beer right off the get go which is expected. A nice citrus blast right from the get go. It seems a little more thick or creamy maybe than what I remembered when I had it on tap when they had it the first time. The lactose throws a little off flavor that I don't care for but over all decent tasting for sure.
M- Nice mouthfeel altogether. Good carbonation with this has the beer gliding gently over the palate without to much being lost. The hops resin sticks to the tounge and I think there is a unique aftertaste of hops and a slight creamy taste to it.
D- I would drink this on a normal basis but sadly that is not going to happen. I think this is a good sipper with the flavors changing when the beer warms a little. Overall not my favorite DIPA but it's from FFF and well just plain good.
