7.4% ABV, 25 IBUs - This Franco-Belgian style Farmhouse Ale has an effervescent body and a light straw color. Rabbid Rabbit, with it’s light malt body, augmented by spices, is a complex and frothy beverage with a deceptively high alcohol content. March release.

My second ever saisson is a much better experience. Nice white head on top of the amber/orange haze, the spice comes out stronger but not overpowering on smell and first taste. They tell me that first powerful flavor is corriander, but after a few sips, a very pleasant banana emerges. Not watery at all, this is an ale I can enjoy.

Pours a hazy golden color with an expansive frothy light tan head. The first thing I get on the nose are clove and subtle coriander aromas, and there’s some banana and bubblegum notes as well.

The coriander is really forward on the taste, which is a delightful development for me - it adds richness and character to the beer, and blends really well with the clove and banana flavors.

My concern with this beer was that Three Floyds would overemphasize the Brett, but that concern was unfounded because the mouthfeel was where a saison should be - even a saison at 7.4% ABV (can you say Imperial Saison?).

Poured into a tall clear pint glass. Lovely golden orange opaque color with a bold haze, somewhat bubbly. Thin head that dissipates quickly, little to no retention or lacing.

Aroma has many pleasant Belgian-inspired notes. Coriander, cloves, orange, banana, and yeast are the main notes that I smell. Other notes of biscuit, pear, apple, bubblegum and white pepper. Really "farmhouse."

Lots of different spices and peppers on the palette that surprises and contrasts from the aroma. Spicy and peppery on the tongue and in the aftertaste, but it does transition to milder notes of cumin, ginger, malts of grain and wheat, and candied sugar for an even balance. Alcohol is unnoticeable. Altogether spicy and malty, medium-bodied.
