This refreshing continental-style pils has a light body combined with a pronounced noble hop aroma and a crisp dry finish. This is the perfect beer for easy, flavorful drinking. Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Jinx Proof tattoo in Washington, D.C.

Poured from an undated 12 oz. bottle: cloudy, golden hue with foamy white head that dissipated quickly. According to a forum on this site, Three Floyds is now using freshness dates on bottles.

Faint noble hop aromas with a faint hint of lemon.

This lager has a rather unique flavor with an almost rounded ale like quality to it. The initial flavor has a yeasty and lemony flavor with a pleasant hop bitterness in the aftertaste. This lager actually tastes better as it warms. The crisp and refreshing taste is enhanced by some strong carbonation; in fact, the carbonation level was quite like that found in a wheat beer. This beer is flavorful but all over the place with its flavor profile.

Appropriately light bodied with a surprisingly solid mouthfeel. The carbonation was a touch too noticeable.

I have wanted to try this and was surprised to find a lone six pack at one the liquor barns in Louisville, KY. The sweet and balanced flavor is typical of a "Dortmunder" style but it takes a back seat to Great Lakes' Dortmunder. (1,034 characters)

Bottled 5/20. Pours a slightly cloudy golden yellow with a 3 finger, soapy white head which disapears pretty quick.

Smells of lager yeast, fresh grains, fairly sweet.

Initial crisp bite with a floral hint that reminds you of a pilsner, but it fades fast into sweet biscuit/crackers. Malts are pale and light. Tons of fresh grain flavors and some bready yeast follows. Sweet and very smooth aftertaste.

Body is light. Very easy drinking. Slightly sparkly, but average carbonation overall.

An excellent lager that is very clean tasting and light bodied, yet full of flavor. (579 characters)

Got this as an extra in a trade

The beer is very transparent with a straw yellow colored with a thick white head the laces well. The coronation is visible it looks like a beer you'd see in documentary.

The nose is subtle german hops slightly spicy and backed with light malts.

The taste matches the nose although the malt is up front sweet the becomes a very subtle hop spicy slightly earthy. The mouth is smooth and sticky at the end.

A solid beer (453 characters)

Golden hued with a tightly knit half inch off white head. Brussels lacing. Aroma of light bready grains and Dortmunder yeast is present. The flavor is packed with sourdough bready grains and gentle lager yeast. The mouth is fairly dry, quaffable, and crisp. (255 characters)

Thanks dannyfrost!

Clear golden yellow and orange with a thin vanilla ice cream colored head. Spots of lacing left down the glass.

The aroma is a simple combination of freshly baked bread, dry biscuits, grass, and a bit of floral hops.

Limited hop flavor though moderately bitter along with simple though pleasant grain and bread character. There's also an underlying grass and floral flavor rounding things out nicely.

Medium mouthfeel, disappearing--crisp and refreshing.

A good, incredibly drinkable, Dortmunder lager. This would be great outdoors at a ballgame on a hot day. (611 characters)
