A - orangish amber with a thin, white head
S - orange peel, faint lager-y aroma
T - citrus, faint malt, lager-y
M - smooth, well carbonated, medium bodied
This is a nice lager from Three Floyds. The citrusy character and hints of orange peel really made this a treat. Lagers tend to be oversimplified, but the citrus here set this one apart from other dortmunders that I have had. This is really an enjoyable, lighter offering that is definitely worth a try.

A: Pale yellow color with a slight haze and a constant stream of bubbles flowing up from the bottom. The finger tall head made of fine off white bubbles sustained with good retention and coated the side of the glass with lacing when swirled or a large sip was taken from the english pint glass.
S: Clean bready pilsner aroma with a bright noble spicy hop character. Slighty rustic and grainy - mild to medium aroma level overall.
T: Nice firm, but pleasantly smooth bitterness with the same noble character from beginning to end. Very bright and fresh, clean with a nice grainy (slightly worty) finish. The bready malt character evolves to a slightly biscuity character and there is a low level of sulfer coming from the ferment. Just a touch of sweetness, but balanced for the most part between the malty sweet and the hop bitterness.
M: A nice dry finish with a moderate level of carbonation. The grainyness seems to come through even in the mouthfeel with a slightly astringent finish combined with the bitterness.
O: A refreshing pils with a clean hop character that I love about this style. The price tag is a bit much for JP, but if you can find it on draft somewhere you maybe better off as this has a relativity short shelf life being such a delicate beer. Nice beer overall
