Thanks to JoshVandy for this bottle.
Poured into a Portsmouth tulip.
A: Straw yellow with a slight amber hue when held up to the light. One finger white head with a hard pour that leaves trace amounts of lacing. The clarity is really murky, probably due to the intense dry hopping.
S: There is a huge grapefruit presence in the nose with some tasty pine cone in tow. I detect Simcoe hops wrapped up in there somewhere for sure. There are hints of the malt in the nose, but it is really subdued.
T: Massive amounts of resin laced dank hops, pine and grapefruit dominate. The malt bill is really mild, basically it is a vehicle for the boat load of hops. It finishes dry and bitter, my kinda double.
M: Medium bodied with ample carbonation.
O: Excellent. I am really impressed with the hoptastic brews from Munster. Cheers to Three Floyds!
