Live review of a 22 oz bottle.
A: Poured a cloudy pale amber with a half-finger white head that died quickly to a thin collar.
S: Pineapple and some pear and apricot, orangey-grapefruit... man this is fruity like a jam. There is some wheat and yeasty element and a slightly buttery toffee. Interesting.
T: Dry white wine is an odd touch to an otherwise marmalade/jelly-esque hops presence. The malts are more pale than expected, like white bread. Sugary sweetness. Some yeasty tones.
M: Medium-bodied, with a carbonation that starts out thick frothy and then ends dry with the lingering hops.
D: Good. A couple glasses would be fine.
This is an interesting one. It is very good for a dry-hopped beer.
