On tap at my local for a limited run. Had gone in planning to give Daisy Cutter a try after seeing the reviews for the style, so a pleasant surprise.
Appearance: Hazy golden color with medium carbonation and a nice thick white head. Laces on the glass. First pint I got was poured up to the top so I was wondering where the head had gone...
Smell: Really wonderful aromas from the hop: grassy/floral, but mostly citrus - grapefruit, and a nice sweetness which reminded me of either honey or peach.
Taste: Big hop body without being too bitter. I didn't note any real malt taste. Tart, tangy, and crisp on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Carbonation leaves a nice tingle in the mouth, and the beer doesn't seem thin or watery.
Overall: Enjoyable APA: too boozy to be a session beer, but one that really lets you enjoy the hop flavor without making your mouth pucker. I was really impressed by the tangy sweetness of this beer, and I'll definitely look for it as the weather warms up.
Serving type: on-tap
