Had on tap at Fiddlers Hearth Public House
A:Pours a hazy pale color with a big fluffly white head that falls slowly, lacing is left everywhere hanging down the glass
S:Amazing smell coming out of this. Big tropical notes, citrus, grapefruit, with a little sweetness as well. I could not keep my nose out of the glass.
T:Get slight sweetness up front before the citrus attack comes on full force rolling across the palate in all of its glory. Slight bitterness and hop juiciness hangs around after the sip is long gone. Absolutly great!!
M:Body is smooth and fairly light, sweetness on the lips and hops on the tongue equal out very nicely.
D:Extremely drinkable, had my first imperial pint down in the matter of 15-20 minutes while still talking to a fellow patron. Ended up having another one and wanted to keep going after that was done but unfortunatly had to go. Looks like I'll have to wait till the six packs come out to get some more of this delicious nectar.

Poured into a tulip glass. The liquid is a hazy orange with plenty of bubbles rising slowly to the surface. The pour kicks up a huge off-white frothy head that makes pouring the entire bottle at once difficult, and leaves sheets of lace until the beer is completely gone.
Aroma is wonderful dank hops - pine, grapefruit, oranges, hints of weed. Hints of sugar-cookie malts complement the hops while still allowing the hops to dominate. Exactly the type of aromas I love from hops.
The taste follows up on all the hop flavors from the nose. Even though it's technically only a pale ale, there is no doubt that this is a tongue-scraping hop assault - but just done at the perfect volume. It's bitter and drying, but not too much, and there's just enough of a kiss of smooth malt flavor to keep it in check. Aftertaste is dank hops and a bit of caramel and resin.
Mouthfeel is smooth and silky. Medium- to light-bodied, with a moderate amount of carbonation. Perfect for the style.
Overall, a really great pale ale - totally lives up to the hype. Nice hop profile, even if a bit one-dimensional, nice malt balance, nice mouthfeel, nice everything. Thanks to batfireman for the trade!
