I was very excited to finally try this beer. It lives up to my expectations.
Appearance: A nice orange- light copper with a white one finger head and some good lacing.
Aroma: Very hoppy. Grapefruit, pine, pineapple, tangerine, mango, and a little floral.
Taste: Very similar to the aroma. Tropical fruits and pine. A little bit of caramel-toasty malt. The malt becomes a bit stronger as the beer warms, but the hops dominate heavily all throughout.
Mouthfeel: Median bodied and carbonation. The finish is a little dry and hops bitterness lingers shortly. Very easy to drink.
Overall: This is a great hoppy pale ale. It leans more of an IPA. Tons of flavors. I really enjoyed Zombie Dust and something I will happily have again.

My thanks to my good friend John Paradee for this delicious bottle!
Bottled on 1/22/14 enjoyed on 3/10/14.
Poured from the bottle into a snifter glass.
Pours nice medium amber with minimal head that rapidly disappears.
Smells fantastic. Citrus hoppiness, a touch of pine with good bready malts.
Tastes very balanced. Not overwhelming. This APA reminds me in profile very much of a traditional west coast IPA. It's very drinkable with really nice mouthfeel.
Overall, a very well made beer. Very tasty and very drinkable.

Thanks to Brewzma for this!
A- A very deep gold that has a reddish hue when held up to the light. the head is maybe a half inch which quickly dissipates into a then lacing.
S- a blast of citrus hops followed by a sweet malt that reminds me of honey. Definitely some lemon and orange and grapefruit in there. A piney resin swirls into the nose after the malt. a very very pleasant smell.
T - This is the bread and butter of the beer. It doesn't really taste like a pale ale but it's still delicious. it tastes very much like the smell with citrusy notes hitting the tongue first, followed by pine and then finishing with a sweet malt taste. The bitter hops rest on your tongue for serveral minutes after it goes down.
M - very smooth for such a hoppy beer. the carbonation doesn't bite and it goes down smooth albeit bitter.
O - a very delicious beer. I understand why some people don't count this as a pale ale but whatever it is, it is delicious and very well crafted. I definitely think it meets the hype. More please!
