This beer smells, looks and tastes incredible. Yeah it's probably an IPA. And a really good one. Hazy, big citrus and funk. Smooth body, a moderate bitterness but it is very balanced. It's a mini heady topper.

I got this as an extra and I can understand the hype. I'm gulping this down way too easily.

I hope I can get more.

A -pours Golden yellow with decent head and nice lacing. However, there does seem to be some slight chill haze or sediment.

S- Smells fantastic. Oranges and citric juicy aromas burst out of this one.

T - some English tasting, bready malts are faintly evident, but the thing that really stands out is the huge citric, juicy, grapefruit flavor.

M - this is a really drinkable, refreshing APA.

O - Fantastic beer. One of the best in the world in my opinion

Poured from a 12oz bottle

A- Warm, golden orange with a thick white foamy head

S- A very crisp, clean citrus hop smell. Soft, not overpowering

T- A wonderfully balanced citrus hoppy flavor (from the citra hops). Floral undertones and nice delicate sweetness. Almost no bitterness

M- Nicely carbonated yet a bit on the thin side. Would like it have a bit more body

O- An amazingly smooth and drinkable pale ale. While not as flavorful as some top tier IPAs or other Citra hop beers, Zombie Dust might be the most balanced and smoothest. The slight sweetness and lack of bitterness make this one of the few hoppy beers that I could drink all night.

Serving: On tap, 12oz snifter
Served: 20 Jan 2014

Appearance: Hazy golden-orange color with a pearly white head that collapses pretty quick. Marvelous lacing on the sides of the snifter as the beer is consumed.

Smell: Marvelously clean, with citrusy hop notes. Some sweetness can be smelled.

Taste: Wow, I now understand the hype about this beer- though it is definitely really hoppy, the beer has a great, sweet maltiness to it too, allowing for the beer to be hoppy but not oppressively bitter. Grapefruit and pine notes overlaying a sweet malt backbone. Excellent.

Mouthfeel: Great carbonation makes this one extraordinarily refreshing.

Overall: The only problem with this beer was that it was in 12oz. I could drink pints on pints of this stuff without thinking twice. Definitely in a grey area between an APA and IPA though. I don't like this one in the APA category because of its hoppiness, but it doesn't belong in the IPA category because of its maltiness. Must try. An incredible beer.
