Thanks to dkw for the ZD

A-really like this orange amber hue
S-lots of citrus, light tropical fruit aroma with hints of sweetness
T-slight bitterness with even tropical fruit and maltyness.
M-good full body feel with hops rounding it with crisp refreshing pop.
O-I REALLY like this beer will never pass up a chance on it, unless it's really old

Big hop aroma, lots of tropical fruit and very oily. I was expecting a sweet IPA like PA, but was very surprised at the relative dryness and the more grassy hop characteristics. Finishes with low acidity and bitter bite. Medium-heavy body and carbonation gives it a big mouthfeel. A beautiful beer with a big fluffy head, copious lacing, and a slightly amber cloudy color.

Served from a 12 oz. bottle. Pours a semi-opaque medium copper orange with an off white head. This beer leaves a decent amount of lacing as well. Aroma is a rich blend of orange and other citrus along with very subtle pine notes without being cloying or overpowering. Taste is outstanding with a continuance of orangey citrus notes and pine plus with a barely detectable presence in the background that brings to mind children's aspirin believe it or not. Mouthfeel is full and smooth with just the right amount of carbonation. Overall this is an outstanding beer. Though I have some philosophical objections to to the arch-hipsterishness of Three Floyds in general, this might be the premier example of what an American pale ale should be.
