Poured a hazy golden orange with a thin off white head with some lacing on the glass. Smells and tastes fantastic. Citrus fruits come through along with a piney resinous aroma with a slight but present malt backbone. The taste is much of the same; tough to put this one down after each sip. Glad I was able to get a sizer in a trade. It will be missed until next time!

A. Orange amber in color. One finger of head that dissipates into a thin ring of foam. Nice lacing.

S. Bready malt and orange zest.

T. Follows the nose. Bready malts and orange zest. Some Citrus flavor as well though not as pronounced as I was expecting.

M. High carbonation and thin body. Dry finish.

O. While good, This one doesn't live up to the hype for me. Given that it is hopped with Citra, I expected more Citrus flavor. Additionally the mouthfeel is quite thin.

I was so very disappointed with this beer, given all the hype associated with it. My friends are all like, "Oh, try this beer, you'll love it!" But this is the United States of America, and just because everyone else treats a beer like a heroin addiction, does not mean I do too. I've seen people refuse to drink anything but this and Gumball Head, and you know what? They don't drink very often. Well, I happen to like beer, but for as hard as it is to get this one, plus, the watery body and flavor of it, I happen to think this one blows. But, to each their own. This is not the best beer in the world people. If you enjoy driving to 25 different liquor stores and wasting countless amounts of time and money just attempting to find a single six pack, which is usually the limit if you can if you do find any, then by all means America, go right ahead. The people responsible for the hype are the same people who made Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber famous. That being said...

A - Cloudy and grey
S - Slightly flowery with a hint of lavender
T - Like a rotten peach and juniper, but tart
M - Felt like I was drinking water

Look - golden color with a slight white head and leaves good lacing.
Smell - smells like a fruit explosion, lots of citrus and grapefruit. Slight malt smell and some grass.
Taste - love fruity pale ales and this is one of the best in my book. Great balance but overall it has the grapefruit and citrus taste.
Feel - full body with medium carbonation.
Overall - one of my favorite pale ales. Great balance between bitter and sweet. I hope in the future this beer can be purchased as easy as sierra nevadas pale ale.

small, one-finger, white, foamy head with a slight yellow tint. Brew is deep orange with hazy fog and tints of red. Not much lacing...

Moderately heavy nose. Floral, pine, grassy, robust, well rounded, airy.

Medium viscosity for a pale, deep, smooth, easy drinker. Nice rounded dry flavors of pine, mild orange rind, nutty, bread, zero sweetness. VERY DRY!!! Nice and smooth lingering dry earthy bitterness. Great even coverage. It's pretty damn tough to earn a 5 for mouthfeel, but this one has done it! Carbonation is very light an well applied. Flavors are a bit light, but that's just the way they should as a Pale.

A bit more of an IPA than a pale, Especially at 6.4%, but nice a solid flavorful, smooth beer. Pretty freaking solid brew, definitely recommend, but don't take out a second mortgage, it's just a Pale...
