Zombie Dust is VERY hyped, but it does an excellent job living up to its reputation, as long as it's fresh.

Appearance- Really good looking golden hazy color with a very very slight amber hue when poured into a proper IPA glass.

Smell- The smell is perfect in my opinion, fruit notes, mild earthy graininess to it. Just awesome aroma.

Taste- Damn near perfect. Fruit and slight earthiness like its aroma. It's rival Pseudo Sue is a just a tad better, but I've had Pseudo Sue on tap and fresh bottles recently, so it's hard to tell exactly.

Mouthfeel- Perfectly done. Velvety smooth, wouldn't change a thing about it.

If this beer was a college basketball team, it would be on the verge of getting upset by some lesser appreciated beer that you can get at any local store, with all the kids in the cheering section screaming "overrated." Seriously, I waited for this?

Maybe it was the first beer or one of the first to showcase citra hops, and to burst the crap out of it with flavor additions up the wazoo, but flash forward to 2014 and it's just a regular old pale ale that is as ubiquitous in flavor as it is pretentious in notoriety.

Pours hazy honey gold with 1/4 inch of off-white head that fades to a thin ring and a thin cap on top and leaves some spotty lace.

Smell is citrus up front. Mainly grapefruit with some nice pine accents. Very inviting.

Taste is grapefruit, sweet orange, bitter hops with hints of bready malt to balance it out nicely.

The texture is medium bodied with medium carbonation.

This one is certainly citrus and hop forward but, the flavors are balanced so well. No flavor overpowers any of the others. Wonderful aromas and silky mouthfeel. Very impressive.

A - A lively deep gold with a strong two finger head with excellent retention.
S - hoppy,floral,citrus. Fantastic
T - Everything just works together, pine, grapefruit, papaya, citrus. Finished with just the right amount of malt balance.
M - Medium body and a smooth finish.
O - This is as good as the hype and very happy that I finally got my hands on two. Now I need to get more.

This is one of the most hyped brews there is. Notice that I did not say OVER-hyped, because it isn't - the hype is totally deserved. If you like hops an American style brews, this is about as good as it gets.

It pours a beautiful golden with partly cloudy and some head and lace. Very pretty in the glass. The aroma is perfect. It is strong and piney smelling. Complex and hoppy. Totally appealing.

The taste follows suit, with a cleanliness often missing from big ambitious brews. It finishes bitter and crisp. This is an awesome brew and I need to get me a bunch more. It would be cool to drink a few of these instead of just one.
