Absolutely delicious! One of my all time favs! Good hop bite right up front with a smooth mellow finish. One of the most appropriate sipping beers. Slightly better on draft but pretty damn good in the bottle as well. A beautiful golden color, with aromas of blended hops and citrus notes. Other reviews have stated that it isnt as good since the discontinuation of the citra hops, but I disagree. Im not really sure what FFFs secret is, but they have nailed it!

Smells of Apricot citrus grapefruit.
Pours cloudy , no big head. Very aromatic
Tastes like juice
Could drink w bacon and eggs
Brew club loves the beer. We all say buy again
I think it live up to the hype
Hoppy to be a pale ale. I would say more toward IPA

Can't say enough good things about this beer. Poured out a beautiful light amber color, with a just off white head that left great lacings. Smell was really fruity and made me salivate for it hitting my mouth, which it did shortly.

Things got even better from there. Great fruit flavor, lot of grapefruit, with just a tiny bit of malt to hold things steady. Enjoyed every last drop, shout out to Tim S for including it in a gift bundle.

Will definitely seek this out again. Maybe an excuse to make it down for dark lord day...as if any were needed !

Poured from bottle into chilled pint shaker glass. Orange amber color, but not as cloudy as I might have expected. Thin white head, which dissipated to thin collar and lots of tiny bubbles. Excellent sticky lacing throughout, all the way down. Beautiful nose of floral citrus and mango grapefruit. On the palate, the nose is replicated, but a dank piney hint emerges. Great malts, good balance. Big chewy mouthfeel. Nice long finish. Reminds me of cross b/t Sucks & Hopslam, which sounds like the definition of heaven to me.

On tap at Pearl Street Pizzeria, Indianapolis on 2/7/14.

Appearance:
Dark golden, very little head.

Smell:
Wow. Pine trees, just amazing. They should make an air freshener scent from this beer.

Taste:
Piney hops, lingering bitterness but very pleasant.

Mouthfeel:
Big carbonation which suits the bitterness perfectly.

Overall:
Not overrated in my opinion. First pale ale that I have found which compares favorably to Hill Farmstead Edward which is my gold standard. Lucky to have Osiris and ZD back to back while in Indy.

Buddy from Chicago brought this one down while he was visiting up in the area. He said he waited in line for like an hour to get it. I thought it had all the great qualities of a great IPA, but had a little harsh finish. I scored it a little lower on the mouthfeel because of this, but still great brew. Solid malt/hop balance, but went down a little rough.
